Joshua Tree 2003 Didgeridoo Festival
The date for the 4th annual Joshua Tree Didge Fest has already been set. The festival is planned for Oct 6-12 2003. Hope to see you all there. Those who didn't get to attend in 2002, you have plenty of time to plan for the next one. This festival is one of the biggest didgeridoo festivals on earth. It has world class performers, workshops, didji and drum circles, desert excursion, and plenty of didgeridoos from all around the world.

Joshua Tree Didge Fest 2002 on the TV show California's Gold

Huell Howser, the host from California's Gold, filmed parts of the festival on October the 19th, 2002.  The Show will aired on Nov 6th 7:30 PM on KCET Los Angeles.


NAMM International Music Products Association  2003 Show

The NAMM International Music Market is being held in Anaheim, California, USA. The dates for the Show are January 16th-19th 2003. This show is huge We will be there so I hope to see some didgeridoo players.

8th Annual Didgeridoo Festival May 3-5, 2003 Pine Creek, Northern Territory of Australia

The 8th Annual Didgeridoo Festival will be held in Pine Creek, Northern Territory of Australia, from May

3-5, 2003. The venue is Copperfield Dam, located 6km SE of the town of Pine Creek. Free camping, toilet facilities, but No Pets.

Activities will include didgeridoo making, didg playing lessons with 'Bolda' Hunter, Aboriginal dancers, bush tucker, and traditional art and craft. This will take place all weekend, with an Acoustic Jam at the Dam on Saturday night around the campfire.

Sunday night come into Pine Creek for the Didgeridoo concert at the Miners Park, starting at sunset and lasting about 4 hours. Admission is FREE, food and drinks on sale.

In previous years we have had performances by Charlie McMahon (both on his own and with Gondwana), Marc Hoffman, Em-Dee and the Katamaran, Tetsuji Ueno (Didgemate from Japan), Ash Dargan, and Aboriginal players from the local area, as well as from all over the world. Many bring their own instruments, but there is always someone willing to lend a didg.
